CAMDEN SCHOOL OF ENLIGHTENMENT
Next event Wednesday 9th November 2011
Our Wednesday 9th November show, will be, unusually, on a Wednesday. But it will, more usually, still be at the Camden Head, 100 Camden High Street, London NW1 0LU. Doors open at 7.30pm, show at 8, and it's free!.
We have secured the services of the following enlightenmenteers, and eagerly await the moment when they've decided what they're going to enlighten us about.
Abi Palmer, scholar and food blogger, returns for the final night of her residency. She wowed us with pie charts, head-measurements, interactive kitten-rating and much much more last time, and our collective fingers are crossed for more.
Niall O'Sullivan, host of blue-ship open mic Poetry Unplugged, and whose off-the-cuff poems at the Wimbledon tennis championships were such a hit that they decided to get someone else the following year.
Richard Tyrone Jones: the brains behind Utter! spoken word; the heart within the breathtaking show Richard Tyrone Jones Has a Big Heart; and the puppeteer behind Ted and Sylvia in our March show.
Finally somebody who knows what he's doing: Alain English will host Dead Poet Society, which will celebrate William Topaz McGonagal.
Several 5-minute floor spots are available - get your theme ready and sign up at 7.30 if you can enlighten us on the theme of your choice. Or email show@csofe.co.uk if you're an especially well-organised girly-swot. Musicians and microlecturers especially welcome. See you there!
